Brentford head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen expects Premier League clubs to join the race to sign Moses Odubajo.

Championship rivals Hull City have reportedly tabled a £3.5million bid for the England U20 international,  triggering a get clause in the 22-year-old's contract.

Odubajo, who has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Everton in the past, sat out Saturday's 2-1 friendly defeat at Norwich City amid speculation he, Andre Gray and Stuart Dallas are set to quit the club.

Gray is also a target for the Tigers, while Dallas is reported to be on the verge of a seven-figure switch to Leeds United where he will join up with former boss Uwe Rosler.

Dijkhuizen admitted Brentford could not stand in Odubajo's way should the price be right for his services, but he reckoned Hull would not be the only option for the former Leyton Orient man.

“He has a clause in his contract for a certain amount and Hull City want to pay that,” said the head coach.

“He decided not to play so that’s why he wasn’t in the squad.

“We think Moses is quality, a very good player.

“It’s a difficult position [to play in], there are not a lot of good right backs, so it’s possible that Premier League clubs come in for him.”
