Neil Warnock had a reason to be cheerful after Crystal Palace’s 2-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday, and not just about the three points.

Palace are now eighth in the Premier League table, and could potentially be in a European spot with victory at Hull City this weekend.

However, aside from the relief of picking up the precious points, Warnock was pleased that his players are adopting his personal ethos on football.

“To get three points in the Premier League is unbelievable but when you get three points and you deserve them, you play good football and score goals – it’s even more so,” he said.

“I am determined to enjoy it and I tell the players to enjoy it and you can see that they are, which is great for a manager.

“They are very privileged to play for a club like Palace in the Premier League, and we’ve all got to grasp it and enjoy every moment.”
