Winchester City ended a run of 14 successive defeats with a goalless draw at home to Tiverton last night.
It was their first point in their new guise as Winchester City Community FC, and the clean sheet was more than welcome after the concession of 50 goals during a miserable run that stretched back to January.
The 0-0 stalemate also ended a run of 11 successive home defeats stretching back to November’s 4-0 win against Didcot.
