WOOLWICH: New DLR station to open next month

A NEW train station is due to open next month.
The finishing touches are being put to the £180m DLR extension next to Woolwich Arsenal train station in time for a January opening.
Work includes tidying up entrances in Greens End and Woolwich New Road, finishing walkways and landscaping.
Signs are also being installed this month at the Greens End entrance to provide up-to-date information about the scheme’s progress.
Test trains have been running through the station since the summer.
Once the new route is open, it will be five stops to Canning Town where passengers can get the Jubilee Line into central London.
