Brooklands duo target London 2012 glory

Brooklands College students Sheree Cox and Melanie Flowers haved marked themselves as stars of the future by performing strongly at the European Championships in Switzerland.
Cox, of Sunbury, finished 20th to continue her impressive recent form.
Three weeks ago, the English junior and women's champion broke the British air rifle record, shooting 396 out of a possible 400 and 102.2 out of 109 in international competition in Holland.
Hampton-based Flowers, a member of Surbiton Postal Shooting Club, was 47th at the Euros.
Both are in the Team Great Britain talent squad, which contains talented youngsters earmarked for glory at London 2012.
Cox, who comes from a long family tradition in shooting.
She said: "Taking part in an Olympic sport has taught me responsibility, discipline and teamwork.
"I travel around Europe to competitions each month and also train in Germany for a week at a time with the British team, as well as at other venues. It is a great opportunity to go and experience other cultures."
Flowers is the reigning British junior women's three position champion and was the leading U21 at the Welsh open last November.
