A young performer and his friend interviewed the ‘Wizard Man’ for their online video channel.

The pair of 19 year olds, Charlie Shakespeare from Sutton and Grant Russell from Croydon, have been making their own films for their Youtube channel, Chant TV.

In their latest venture, which was posted online last week, Sutton’s Wizard Man revealed his previous name, Conrad Pugsley, is no longer correct and his full title is now: The Divine Grace Conrad, Lord Azurahm of Draconia Anglorum.

Mr Shakespeare said: “Conrad performed some magic for me. We held hands and he sent his energy circulating throughout my body.

“As an atheist I don’t feel that his magic was anymore farfetched than any other religious person who believes in a greater being, however I respected his beliefs all the same, and thanked him for sharing them with me.

“In the twenty minute interview he speaks openly about his court appearance for carrying a knife, and the fire at his Durand Close home that killed his three cats and one dog.

“He speaks about his upbringing and many university degrees which make him somewhat of an expert on religion, including his own, Draconian, which he studied at the University of Scotland.

“He discusses people’s perception of him and how a small minority of ignorant people say negative and judgemental statements to disrespect him.”

Mr Shakespeare works as a writer, actor and director whereas Mr Russell who is studying IT deals with the technical side of the filming.

Mr Shakespeare added: “I’m loving it- typical life of an actor – I have a couple of weeks without anything then have a manic week. I love it.

“My sister’s a tough critic – if she laughs I know it is good.”

Mr Shakespeare and Mr Russell are going to video their road trip through the North of England next month. To follow their progress visit youtube.com/chanttv or follow them on Facebook at facebook.com/chanttv.

Oh yes, we judge him because he's a benefit scrounger who just a few years ago wore leather biker gear and hung out in bingo halls. Anything to dodge working. He's not interesting. If I quit work, dressed up in a clown costume, and walked the high street living off the taxpayer, would I be wonderful, too?

probably more wonderful than you are now.

you asked...

"a few years ago", the wizard was being a wizard, i know as i took a photo of him (2005), so you must be thinking way further back. but i have also heard that he used to be a biker..

i have spoken with him a few times & it seems to me he's got some emotional/psychologi
cal issues that aren't being dealt with properly and instead he drinks too much.

i don't know if he is on benefits (maybe he got a huge inheritance at some point) but if he is and does all that drinking, that would indeed bother me. there are loads of people like that out there, though, unfortunately.

anyway, best of luck to the filming lads- interesting line of work to be in :)

Mrs. Peel of The Avengers is always wonderful and interesting to behold.

I've knew him in the early 80s and he was certainly not a biker then, but I heard he had an accident and damaged his spine- he also used to look after his Mum when he lived at Durand Close till she died

Haha! Talented young film-makers they clearly are, but they're either a bit gullible or haven't learned to use Google. "Draconian" religion? At the University of Scotland? Does Mr Wizard also have a degree in "pick a card, sir, any card"? ;)
