Fancy zip-lining between two of Croydon's tallest towers, battling ninjas and plunging through the Whitgift Centre's roof before making your escape by helicopter?

Us neither, but you can do just that - sort of - thanks to some heart-stopping stunts pulled off by four freerunners in homage to a computer game.

Four runners kitted out with GoPro cameras leapt between buildings and clambered up walls in Croydon town centre in footage edited to resemble the action game Mirror's Edge.

The parkour stunts have blended with special effects (no ninjas were harmed in the making of this video) by director Claudiu Voicu to depict a thrilling rooftop escape in first-person perspective.

Throw in some spectacular views of Croydon's skyline at dusk and you've got a pretty high-octane tour of the town in which the boundaries reality and invention begin to blur.

Look out for familiar sights including Taberner House (RIP), Croydon Village Outlet and the Ikea chimneys.

The runners involved in filming were Pip Andersen, Drew Taylor, Ashley Holland and Phil Doyle.

The video has been viewed nearly 460,000 times since it was uploaded two days ago.
