Visitors to Chessington World of Adventures have been banned from wearing animal-print clothes because it confuses the real animals, the park claims.
Animals in the Zufari safari-style tour enclosure tried to communicate with people wearing the clothes, or ran away in fear.
Coveralls will be handed out by animal print bouncers to anyone who does turn up wearing one of the banned patterns.
Forbidden prints include zebra, leopard, tiger, and – just in case – African wild dog.
Spokeswoman Natalie Dilloway said: “It's no wonder animals are getting confused when they see what looks like zebras and giraffes driving across the terrain in a 7.5 tonne truck.
“We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing animal print at the park.”
