Wet weather failed to stop a group of extreme sportsmen from having fun this week after they turned a flooded play park into a Christmas wakeboarding wonderland.
The friends took part in an impromptu festive wakeboarding session at the field on Bushey Road in Raynes Park, which floods during wet weather spells, being pulled at speeds of 25mph across the flooded field using their home built winch dubbed the ‘Swamp Donkey’.
The group first filmed themselves wakeboarding across the field last year, during the wettest April on record.
This week the friends, who live in Raynes Park, returned to the park dressed in festive costumes making the most of this winter’s wet weather.
