GREENWICH: Fire on track leads to train delays

Train services are being disrupted because of a fire on the track in the Woolwich Dockyard area.

The incident is affecting Southeastern services between Dartford and London Charing Cross, between Dartford and Cannon Street and between Dartford and Victoria.

It is believed that the fire has damaged signalling cables.

Alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 40 minutes and it is yet not known when a normal service will resume.

London Underground, Docklands Light Railway and buses are allowing passengers with Southeastern train tickets to travel on all reasonable routes to London.
