Motorists suffered increased congestion this morning following a road accident on the M11.
At around 5.40am four cars were involved in an accident between junctions 6 (Loughton) and 7 (Harlow) closing the motorway for nearly an hour as two of the vehicles were cleared away, and causing extra congestion on Epping High Street.
No-one was injured in the incident which also created long tailbacks to Bishop's Stortford, and Stansted Airport at junction eight.
