A cycle network is being planned for Marlow - and riders are being asked to say what it should look like.
The network will see new cycle lanes, upgraded footpaths and traffic calming measures.
Two public exhibitions will be held in May and questionnaires are being sent to community groups.
Leaflets on the plans are also available at the town's information office and library.
Councillor Hugh McCarthy, Wycombe District Council's cabinet member for planning and sustainability, said: "There are lots of local journeys that could quite easily be made on foot or by bike, but all too often the links aren't all in place for people to complete their journeys safely, conveniently and in pleasant surroundings.
"A cycle network would make cycling a more attractive option and could help improve conditions for pedestrians as well."

Cllr Val Letheren, cabinet member for transportation at Buckinghamshire County Council, added: "The challenge of getting around while at the same time easing traffic and parking problems is a challenge facing us all.
"Last year's TV programme in Marlow, which featured people taking part in a car-free day, showed the potential advantages and how people recognise the health and traffic benefits."
The consultation is being held by Wycombe District Council, Buckinghamshire County Council and Marlow Town Council. It closes on June 6.
