Several millions stolen in the £53 million Securitas heist have been found during a police raid in south-east London.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on industrial premises in Bexley on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

The robbery of the Securitas depot in Tonbridge, Kent, in the early hours of February 22 was Britain's biggest cash heist ever.

Forensic scientists are now examining bags of cash found during the search yesterday.

Money was also found at Elderden Farm near Staplehurst, Kent, but police said the amount was "not significant".

The 43-year-old suspect is still being quizzed by police.
