A 28-year-old plumber from east London has been charged with five offences linked to alleged terrorist activities and possession of firearms.
Kazi Nurur Rahman, of Meanley Rd in Newham, will appear at Bow St Magistrates' Court later today.
He was arrested last week, after a police operation near the M25 in Hertfordshire, in which properties in east London were also searched.
Rahman faces three firearms-related charges, relating to the alleged possession of three Uzi' submachine guns.
He faces two charges under the Terrorism Act 2000 also related to the alleged possession of the weapons, and 3000 bullets.
The terrorism charges allege he was involved in the guns being made available for the purposes of terrorism, and that he knew the weapon could be used for such a purpose.
