An unidentified woman is critically ill in hospital after being pulled out of the River Thames.

Her possessions include an Oyster card which was bought on June 6 and has been used in the Catford and Bromley areas as well as Northolt and Ealing.

She was unconscious when she was rescued from the river by emergency services near Lambeth Bridge shortly after midnight on Friday (June 20).

Police are not aware of any suspicious circumstances and want to try and find out who she is.

The woman is described as white, medium build, between 55 and 65 years old and around 5ft 5in tall.

She has brown hair which is slightly grey at the front and could have been dyed.

When she was found she was wearing black trousers, a pale blue jumper with another pale blue jumper with dark horizontal stripes over the top.

A woollen cardigan in two tones of blue was worn over these.

She was wearing black Reebok trainers.

As well as the Oyster card the woman was carrying a key fob with a picture of a baby on one side and the word Kennedy handwritten on the back along with a date of 14/10/06.

Anyone with any information about who she is should call Lambeth's missing persons unit on 020 8721 3557.
