Police have made an arrest in connection with the murder of a shop manager stabbed to death in a suspected robbery in Hackney.
Jamie Simpson, 33, is thought to have been attacked as he was cashing up at a Matalan store shortly before 8pm on Saturday.
A 26-year-old man was arrested by officers from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command in Hackney on Wednesday night and is currently in custody at an east London police station.
A Met police spokesman said inquiries into the murder were ongoing.
