A penny black similar to this one was stolen.
A rare stamp reported to be worth £10,000 has been stolen by thieves from a house in north west London.
According to police, the burglars ripped a safe, containing cash, the penny black stamp and £175 in special issue George Best £5-notes, from the wall of a property in Ashdale Grove, Stanmore on Monday, January 21.
