SEVEN people have been arrested following a raid on a DVD factory in Eltham this week - said to be the largest discovered in London for 18 months.
Police officers found 65,000 counterfeit discs ready to be dispatched, 21 copying machines containing 210 multi-burner trays and thousands of DVD sleeves and film labels in two bedrooms of a house in Rylands Crescent.
In the property's garage they found another 30,000 blank DVDs stored in boxes.
It is believed that the 'factory' could produce 140,000 DVDs per week with a street value of over £420,000.
The five men and two women, all in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of theft of copyrights and taken to police stations across south London.
