A SEX pest has admitted groping a schoolgirl and two women while travelling on the Docklands Light Railway.

Christopher Cutler, of Hillary Avenue, Northfleet, sneaked up behind passengers and fondled them in three separate incidents.

The 50-year-old carried out his first sexual assault on a woman in her 20s on April 25 before targeting a 14-year-old schoolgirl and another woman in her 20s on June 21.

Cutler pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault by touching when he appeared at Southwark Crown Court yesterday.

Kevin Molloy, mitigating, said: "It is a question of the defendant approaching women from behind and stroking their lower backs either through their clothing or sometimes on the skin with his hand."

Judge David Higgins adjourned the case until January 18 for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

The judge granted Cutler bail on the condition that he does not travel on any DLR or tube train.
