A murder investigation has been launched after a pizza chef was stabbed to death with his own kitchen knife in Clapham.
The man, believed to be Mojtaba Hidari, was pronounced dead by a doctor outside Pizza Go Go in Wandsworth Road.
Iranian-born Mr Hidari, who was employed at the takeaway, was attacked as he was preparing ingredients.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at around 4.10pm yesterday.
A spokesman for the LAS said they send a fast response car, an ambulance and air ambulance to the scene after they received reports of a stabbing.
A postmortem examination is due to be carried out and an inquest will be opened and adjourned.
The murder is being investigated by the Homicide and Serious Crimes Command and being led by Detective Chief Inspector Mick Duthie.
No arrests have been made.
