As a novel way of tackling London's housing crisis, a man has moved into a laundry room in south London which has been converted into a home.
Noel Morgan's bright and spacious newly-built flat in Wynter Street is one of Wandsworth Council's award-winning hidden homes.
These are residences created by transforming vacant and disused areas on council estates, like storerooms, sheds and boiler rooms, into comfortable apartments.
The council has already built 136 hidden homes across the borough using its own funds, but Mr Morgan's is the first of five constructed as a result of a new partnership between the town hall and the Notting Hill Housing Group.
He said: "I knew the laundries were no longer being used and it's amazing to think these have now been converted into new homes - and it's a really nice flat."
Notting Hill will fund up to 71 new affordable homes over the next two years at cost of about £9million, some of which could have as many as six bedrooms.
