THE husband of murdered special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri has been arrested and charged with drug dealing.
Fadi Nasri, 32, who owns a limousine company, was arrested on Friday.
A spokesman at Scotland Yard said: "The arrest was in relation to drugs matters. At this stage it is not believed to be connected to the murder."
Mr Nasri has been bailed to appear at a London police station in February.
Nisha, 29, who had been a special constable for three years, was stabbed in the thigh with a John Lewis "Evolution" kitchen knife, as she stood on her door step.
She had been celebrating her wedding anniversary on the night she was killed.
Her husband had gone out to play snooker at the time of her death.
- On Friday evening, a man was charged over the murder of Mrs Patel-Nasri.
Tony Emmanuel, 40, of East Ham, East London, appeared at Ealing magistrates on Saturday and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 16 March.
Two other men, aged 35 and 37, have been bailed to return in February in connection with the murder.
