A 22-YEAR-OLD woman is accused of storing a collection of terrorist handbooks and firearms operating manuals on her computer.

Samina Malik, of Townsend Road, Southall, west London, is charged with four offences under the Terrorism Act, including possession of a computer drive containing the Al Qaeda Manual, The Terrorists Handbook and The Mujahideen Poisons Handbook.

She is also alleged to hold copies of a firearms handbook and operating manuals for a 9mm pistol, a Dragunov Sniper Rifle and a light anti-tank weapon, as well as a document on obstacles, mines and demolitions.

The drive was also said to include a file entitled "Win hand to hand fighting" while another folder, named "Samina'z stuff", is alleged to contain material likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

Ms Malik, who is unemployed, will appear before City of Westminster Magistrates' Court today following her arrest on October 27.

She is the second person this month to be charged in connection with the possession of terrorist manuals. On November 2 Sohail Anjum Qureshi, 29, from east London, appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with terrorist offences.

Officers who arrested him at Heathrow Airport found a copy of the Mujahideen Poisons Handbook in his possession as he was boarding a plane to Pakistan.
