TWO brothers from east London charged over the alleged plot to blow up transatlantic planes have been released.
Mehran Hussain, 24, and Umair Hussain, 25, of Chingford walked free from Westminster Magistrates' Court after a judge found there was insufficient evidence for a trial.
The pair, who were arrested during the terror raids across London on August 9, were released almost three months after police foiled the alleged plot to blow jetliners from London to the US.
The Hussain brothers had been charged with failing to disclose information on their brother Nabeel, a suspect in the case.
Nabeel is among 11 people charged with conspiracy to murder and preparing acts of terrorism.
He was granted bail last week, along with a 17-year-old suspect.
