8:41am Tuesday 7th February 2006

This man is wanted for a six-figure jewellery raid at an exclusive store in Regent Street during which pieces worn by Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes were stolen.

A staff member was attacked with a hammer when four robbers ransacked Boodle & Dunthorne on October 14, 2004.

The men, armed with club hammers, smashed cabinets and took items worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The loot included a £90,000 necklace and matching £40,000 bracelet donned by Dame Kelly when she attended the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards two weeks earlier.

A men's watch, more necklaces and rings were also stolen.

The clubbed staff member suffered head injuries during the raid.

Police described the wanted suspect as a man with a Mediterranean appearance and stocky build.
