An A-level student who dreamt of becoming a singer was found murdered on wasteland near her parents' home.
Jeshma Raithatha, 17, was studying for her final exams when she disappeared three days before her 18th birthday.
Her body was discovered yesterday in dense bushes around a sports ground at Sudbury Tower, less than a mile from her family home in Greenford, west London.
The teenager wrote on several websites for young musicians of her ambition to sing and model.
"I love music," one entry reads. "I am a singer with a storng (sic) voice. I have a lot of experience. I love the stage, glamour, lights, auditions and everything."
On a website that promotes voice over work, she said she could do dubbing for TV, radio and films in English and Hindi.
"I am used to performing in front of an audience," she wrote. "I go to voice/singing lessons to keep training my voice further.
"I songwrite and I am into music and I used to be in a choir at a younger age. I have modelled for face and body, and can play the clarinet."
A staff member at Claremont High School in Kenton was the last person to see Jeshma as she left the college at around 1.30pm last Monday.
Her parents reported her missing when she failed to come home that night.
When Jeshma went missing, she was wearing a blue jumper, navy jeans and carrying a black schoolbag with red hearts. She also had on three silver bangles and a nose stud. Her long, dark hair had blonde highlights.
Detective Superintendent Sue Hill, who leads the inquiry, urged anyone who may have seen anyone go in and out of the bushes around the Sudbury Tower sports grounds to call police.
"Jeshma had a lot of friends," she added, appealing to them to come forward if they had heard from the teenager since last Monday.
They can phone 0208 358 0300 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
