The mother who pleaded guilty to causing the death of baby Finlay Woods was today jailed for seven years.
Katie Gutierrez-Perez, 40, was handed the jail term at Snaresbrook Crown Court after she admitted causing death by dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
Baby Finlay died when Gutierrez-Perez smashed her 4x4 into him outside Selwyn Primary School on September 18.
The toddler, who was just 15 months old, was airlifted to Whipps Cross Hospital but doctors were unable to save him.
Cafe owner Gutierrez-Perez was warned she faced a "substantial custodial sentence" after entering her plea on December 2.
