Pair deny murdering New Cross students

Two men have denied murdering French students Gabriel Ferez and Laurent Bonomo in New Cross.

The students, both 23, were found in their burning flat, bound and gagged, with multiple stab wounds, on June 29.

Dano Sonnex, aged 23, of Etta Street, Deptford, and Nigel Farmer, aged 33, of no fixed address, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday (November 21) via video link.

Both men denied murder, arson, burglary and false imprisonment.

They were remanded in custody to appear on April 21.
