Most stawberries sold at Wimbledon were contaminated

Wimbledon visitors may have been left with a nasty aftertaste from this year's tennis championships after a report showed 90 per cent of strawberries on sale tested positive for pesticide contamination.

The investigation by Britain's Pesticide Safety Directorate claimed only 30 to 40 percent of portions should register any traces of contamination. But there was some good news - organic strawberries tested pesticide-free.
