Swan attack filmed by yobs

Comments (9)A sickening attack which killed a swan has so incensed Epsom residents they have dug deep to fund a £3,000 reward to help catch the culprit.
And the vicious thugs even filmed the attack on their mobile phone.
The footage shows one of the hoodie-wearing yobs drawing in the swan with a piece of bread before kicking it in the head.
The pair then laugh merrily as the terrified animal tries to escape.
The attack took place at Walton-on-the-Hill, on April 22, but the shocking clip has just been discovered.
A postmortem examination of the bird, carried out at Surrey's Swan Sanctuary, showed the swan had died as a result of its unlaid eggs breaking while they were still inside it - meaning a slow death from poisoning.
Steve Knight, a trustee of The Swan Sanctuary, is hoping anyone with information will contact Surrey Police.

I hope that these children do not just get a telling off and sent on their way when they are caught... Maybe you could entice them in with the latest computer game and act in a similar way when they are close enough.

These ignorant little ******* don't seem to care that swans are one of the few animals that mate for life! That means somewhere the cob is pining for his mate.
The parents of these I can't even call them children, must be SO proud! Just because things in their lives are not happy does not give them the right to take it out on a mainly defenceless creature.
The fact that she died from poisoning of her own eggs is heartbreaking.
