Johnson vows to fight teen violence
New mayor Boris Johnson said he "would not rest" over tackling teenage violence as detectives continued to investigate the murder of a teenager stabbed to death in a block of flats.
Lyle Tulloch, from Peckham, south London, was stabbed in a stairway in Newall House, a block of flats in the Southwark area of the city in the early hours of Sunday morning. He died at the scene.
The 15-year-old was attacked less than a mile from where 10-year-old Damilola Taylor died in November 2000 - also after being stabbed in the stairwell of a block of flats.
