Commuters will soon be able to connect to the internet on the tube as wi-fi is introduced at stations across the capital from this summer.
Transport for London confirmed it has awarded internet provider Virgin Media a contract to install wireless technology at all of its stations on the London Underground network.
More than 80 stations will be connected in the coming months, with 120 featuring wi-fi by the end of the year.
