RESIDENTS on a Burnt Oak estate are being asked to lend a hand to a community clean up day on Saturday.
The Burnt Oak Chrisitan Fellowship is organising the Noise day on the North Road Estate along with police and Barnet Homes.
Volunteers are being asked to give an hour of their time to do things like litter picking and graffiti cleaning, and helping residents who need assistance to do some jobs.
Flyers have been put through doors in the area asking people to sign up, and can be returned to the freepost address provided.
On Bank Holiday Monday there will be a fun day for residents as part of the Noise event, from 12-5pm, featuring games, a free barbecue, an obstacle course and many other stalls.
Organiser, Amanda Ottaviani, said: “We hope to encourage the local young people and adults to participate in community work, giving them an increased awareness of the needs of their neighbours and getting everyone out and helping each other.
“The fun day allows everyone to come together, reaping the benefits of the work that has been carried out and enjoying the bank holiday together.”
