COMPLAINTS about the X Factor house doubled after the council closed the road it is on.
Barnet Council received only three complaints about litter left on West Heath Avenue in Golders Green by enthusiastic X Factor fans who hung around the house from morning to night.
But after one young fan was nearly run over and the council decided to close the road complaints doubled.
A council spokesman said: “Following action by the council to close the road because of safety concerns, there were a further six complaints from motorists about the congestion caused by the closure.
“There have not been any complaints since the road reopened on Monday.”
Two of the shows stars said yesterday that they had not really noticed commotion caused by the mainly teenage fans.
Finalists Danyl Johnson and Jamie Archer said it had not really bothered them.
