Travellers who moved into an Orpington park have been evicted.

A group of travellers settled in Goddington Park, off Goddington Lane, last Monday (July 27).

Police visited the site that night after receiving reports a group of caravans had entered the park.

They found 10 mobile homes on site, which is owned by Bromley Council.

The police served the travellers with a notice to leave, and a spokesman for the council confirmed the visitors left on Sunday (August 2) afternoon.
