The Epsom Playhouse has announced a musical ensemble of events for the autumn season.

Country legends Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers will be celebrated alongside classical music and Rock ‘n’ Roll at a series of concerts with something for everyone.

On Saturday, September 12 Let’s Twist Again returns to the Epsom Playhouse bringing the best of fifties and sixties music to the stage.

Now in its fourth successive year and wowing audiences everywhere it plays, this is a brand new production for 2015.

Another new show is the Story of Guitar Heroes, below, a mind-blowing live concert style 'rockumentary', paying homage to some of the greatest guitar heroes of all time.

Surrey Comet: September Music at the Epsom Playhouse

Using some of the country's most talented musicians alongside the latest video screen technology, Phil Walker takes the audience on a journey through the decades from when the first legends of the Rock 'n' Roll era began in the 1950s, through to the most creative and inspirational modern guitar heroes of today. It will be held on Saturday, September 26.

The Rat Pack will be honoured with a spectacular show featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin.

With tunes including Come Fly With Me, That's Amore and Under My Skin, audiences are sure to be out of their seats in no time.

From the producers of a Viennese Strauss Gala and Magical Mozart, Baroque by Candlelight on Monday, September 28, promises to be a stunning fully costumed show of the wonderful music and the classical baroque world of some of the greatest romantic composers Vivaldi, Handel and Bach.

The European Baroque Ensemble and Singers will perform a packed programme of classical music, which includes Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Handel's Water Music and Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor.

The Epsom Playhouse will be celebrating the queen and king of country, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers on Wednesday, September 30 with the show Islands In The Stream.

Packed with country music’s greatest hits including Jolene, Ruby and 9 to 5, enjoy the awesome vocals and gentle humour of the legendary live shows.

Bring-the-house-down performances, a superb score and supreme musicianship tell the story of the simple Smoky Mountains farm girl’s rise to country music’s biggest superstar.

Other events across September include Bay City Rollers’ Les McKeown taking to the stage on Sunday, September 13 and Purple Zeppelin, a tribute to Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.
