Traffic was brought to a standstill after two cars crashed in Sidcup yesterday evening (July 2).
Emergency services were called at around 6.25pm to the smash in Bexley Lane at the junction with Royal Road.
Four people were taken to hospital - one, a woman in her 50s, as a priority.
London’s Air Ambulance was photographed landing at nearby Cleeve Park School playing fields shortly after the crash.
The road was closed while the damaged cars were removed and debris cleared away.
No arrests were made.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: "We got a call at 6.24pm to Royal Road at the junction with Bexley Lane to reports of a road traffic collision.
"We sent three ambulances, one single responder, the duty manager and an air ambulance crew by car.
"Four patients were taken to Darent Valley Hospital, one - a woman in her 50s with arm injuries - as a priority."
