Kingston police said the double-decker bus collided with another bus at the roundabout in Eden Street, near Brook Street, at about 7pm on Friday, May 29.
The 281, which was travelling through Kingston towards Hounslow Bus Station, was pictured with its windscreen smashed and partially hanging from its fixture.
Part of the front of the bus, including the registration plate and one front headlight, was also missing following the crash.
Nobody was injured but the road was blocked while the bus was moved and debris was cleared.
