Metropolitan Police officers in Haringey have been delivering anti—burglary traceable water kits.
On Friday officers were delivering SmarWater kits to homes in Harringay Gardens, Harringay as part of their efforts to tackle burglary in the borough.
The kits, made by SmartWater Technologies is virtually impossible to remove and can only be seen under UV light according to the firm.
Police say the kits have already caused a reduction in burglaries across London.
The MetTrace programme in Haringey hopes to deliver 13,500 of the kits across Haringey over the next three years.
