A woman received ‘serious injuries’ in a Bromley crash which saw four children injured.
Two cars crashed along Westmoreland Road, at its junction with Whitehaven Close, on Sunday (May 24).
The London Ambulance Service (LAS), London’s Air Ambulance, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) and the Met Police were all called to the scene, around 5pm.
The LFB sent four fire engines to the crash and released a trapped woman from one of the cars.
MORE TOP STORIES The woman, thought to be in her fifties, was taken by an Air Ambulance to the Royal London Hospital with a reported back injury.
Her injury was described as 'serious' but it is not thought to be life threatening.
A spokesman for the LFB confirmed another adult and three children received minor injuries.
The LAS sent two ambulances, a fast response paramedic and an officer to the scene.
The road was closed until just before midnight.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
