Children with learning disabilities will be able to communicate using iPads thanks to a gift from a charity.
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, in Victors Way, Barnet, were given the tablets by children’s technology charity Lifelites.
The tablet computers will help children supported by the charity who have learning disabilities communicate using touch screen technology.
Sensory programmes installed on the machine will also help them express themselves creatively.
Ru Watkins, chief executive of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice said: “The iPads will also make administrative processes smoother for our carers, allowing them more time with the children and families.”
