Two men were seriously injured in an attack in Surbiton.
The assault, believed to have taken place near KFC early yesterday morning, left two men in hospital after one was found with facial injuries in McDonald's.
Police were called to the Victoria Road restaurant at 6am yesterday and took the man, aged in his 20s, to hospital. He remains in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Officers were called again, at 7.45am, after a second man presented at accident and emergency with a serious neck injury.
He remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Police believe the attack took place in Electric Parade, a service road off Victoria Avenue behind KFC, at about 5.50am yesterday, and are appealing for witnesses.
