Middlesex University has been put in the top 25 in a national green league for universities.

The Hendon-based university was ranked 24 in the People and Planet league for its green initiatives, which include solar panels and charging points for electric vehicles.

Andrew Dickie, Director of Estates and Facilities, said: “We are pleased that our hard work to reduce our carbon footprint has been recognised in this year’s league table to be placed in the top 25 universities in the UK, and top four in London.”

The university also received a ‘first class’ award for its efforts.
