Barnet’s health group is set to receive an extra £29.5m in NHS funding.
The clinical commissioning group has seen its allocation for 2015/16 rise to £431,762,000 – an increase of 7.3 per cent on the previous year.
Mike Freer, MP for Finchley and Golders Green, welcomed the announcement.
He said: “I am delighted that Barnet is to receive almost £30m extra for our NHS. The economy continues to grow and with a strong economy comes a strong NHS. The additional funding shows what this means locally.”
