Dancing and doughnuts were on the agenda at a Hannukah party.

Residents at Jewish Care homes in Golders Green were invited to the Michael Sobell Community Centre, in Golders Green Road, in the Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus to celebrate the Jewish festival.

Guests were made up of Otto Schiff, Selig Court and Rela Goldhill Lodge – a centre for young people with disabilities.

Jewish Care president Lord Levy and Rabbi Hackenbroch, from Woodside Park Synagogue, danced the conga round the centre.

The traditional Hannukah candles were lit by Ella Latchman, the sister of the late Maurice Wohl, who the campus is named after.

Rabbi Hackenbroch presented Jewish Care with a cheque from the Woodside Park Synagogue community who chose Jewish Care for their Pesach appeal this year, raising £3244 for the charity.
