Three shotguns, four pistols, two rifles and one air rifle were taken off the borough’s streets during a London-wide gun amnesty.
In total, 13 firearms, including three fakes, were handed in to officers at Kingston police station as part of the Met’s Give Up You Gun campaign.
Shotgun cartridges and ammunition were also handed in at Kingston’s police headquarters. Across the capital, more than 350 guns, including antiques, and 12,300 rounds of ammunition were handed in for the first gun amnesty in the capital in six years.
Those who handed in weapons during the surrender, which ended on Sunday, were promised anonymity and no prosecutions.
Detective Chief Inspector Gary Bruce, from the Trident gang crime command, said: "We had an incredible response to the gun surrender and I want to thank Londoners for their enthusiasm in getting behind this campaign and supporting us.
"The surrender has led to a significant number of lethal-barrelled weapons and ammunition being taken off the streets, preventing them from falling into the hands of criminals, in particular gang members, and helping to further reduce gun crime in the capital."
