Pupils are encouraged to design a gardening-themed Christmas card to help raise money for charity.

Children aged 11 and under can enter the competition, run by the virtual gardening centre Potter and Rest, to raise money for bibic, a charity which helps children with conditions like autism, Asperger syndrome and cerebral palsy.

One national winner and four regional winners will be chosen, who will have their cards made and sold next year. The national winner will receive a £20 voucher to spend on the company’s website, as well as a £50 voucher for their school.

Entries can be hand-drawn or computer generated and can be in colour or black and white.

People can send their entries to hello@potterandrest.co.uk by January 5, or to Potter & Rest, Crypton House, Crypton Technology Business Park, Bristol Road, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 4SY.

All entries must include name, age, school and contact details.
