Young chefs learnt from the best at a college event with top cooking tips and foraging advice.
Students at South Thames College’s Merton campus got advice from Ross Marshall, a head chef at country house hotel Coworth Park, who visited the college for the day.
Mr Marshall said: "I have really enjoyed working with the students.
"It was great to see them knuckle down and take direction.
"The result was some excellent work. One student Sam Atunrase, 17, attempted complex macaroons for the first time and completely excelled at them – I was very impressed."
The day was rounded off with an urban forage with Michelin-starred Simon Hulstone’s personal forager David Harrison in Merton Park.
