A hamper full of prizes was presented to the winner of a summer competition.
Eight-year-old Ryan Cmesencia, from Dunn Mead, Colindale, was selected as the winner of the summer anagram competition, run by The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware.
He received a hamper full of games, toys, books and vouchers for a family activity day.
The competition ran throughout the school holidays, and involved children hunting and deciphering ten anagrams, which were displayed in shop windows throughout the centre. More than 50 families took part.
Angela Brooks, centre manager of The Broadwalk Centre, said: “We were delighted with the number of entries we received and huge congratulations to Ryan for being selected as the winner – I hope he enjoys all his goodies.”
