Conference to tackle social isolation
A conference will take place which aims to tackle social isolation.
Organised by Community Barnet, it takes place at St Paul’s Centre, in Long Lane, Finchley, tomorrow from 2pm.
Charities from across the borough will discuss their work, including Barnet Mencap, Mind and Parenting Consortium.
A Q&A panel will also take place with speakers from Public Health Barnet, Age UK Barnet and the Campaign to End Loneliness.
The conference is open to anyone, and is expected to finish around 5pm.
